Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
Psychodynamic therapy is rooted in the idea that our early relationships and childhood experiences—especially with caregivers—deeply shape how we relate to ourselves and others as adults. In our work together, we’ll explore how unconscious processes such as memories, defense mechanisms, and internalized patterns influence your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors today. By bringing these underlying dynamics into awareness, we can begin to untangle old patterns and make space for new, more intentional ways of being.

Humanistic therapy is grounded in the belief that each person holds an innate capacity for growth, self-awareness, and meaningful change. I view clients as the experts of their own lives, and my role is to walk alongside you in the process of self-discovery—not to direct it. A social justice-oriented approach to therapy recognizes that our mental health is deeply impacted by the broader systems we live within. This perspective invites us to explore how societal structures, policies, and cultural narratives shape individual experiences of stress, trauma, and identity. Together, we’ll name and examine these external influences while also building tools for self-advocacy, resilience, and empowerment—honoring both your personal healing and our collective wellbeing.
